1. Purpose

This document defines the eligibility criteria applicable to any individual wishing to participate in Stone Play activities.

It applies to:

  • the virtual competition
  • the sports tournament
  • cultural and artistic performances
  • public participation

Only individuals meeting these criteria may be considered official participants.

2. Age Requirements

Age requirements vary depending on the type of participation:

Virtual Competition

  • open to participants aged 14 and above
  • parental authorization required for minors

Performers and Artists

  • open to participants aged 14 and above
  • parental authorization required for minors

Sports Tournament

  • restricted to adult participants
  • proof of age may be required

Public

  • minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

The Stone Foundation reserves the right to verify age at any time.

3. Geographic Scope

Stone Play is open to international participation, particularly for the virtual competition.

Certain restrictions may apply depending on local laws or legal and logistical constraints.

Specific conditions are defined for each edition.

4. General Participation Conditions

To be eligible, participants must:

  • complete the official registration form when required
  • comply with participation requirements
  • adhere to the General Regulations
  • respect the Code of Ethics for Participants
  • accept the legal terms and image rights conditions

Any incomplete or non-compliant participation will be considered invalid.

5. Specific Conditions - Virtual Competition

To be eligible for the virtual competition, participants must:

  • create original content aligned with the edition theme
  • submit their content to the Stone Play team for validation
  • comply with defined formats, deadlines, and requirements

Only validated content is considered as official participation.

6. Specific Conditions - Sports Tournament

To be eligible for the sports tournament, participants must:

  • be of legal age
  • register individually or as a team
  • provide required information
  • comply with sports and organizational rules

7. Specific Conditions - Performers and Artists

To be eligible, participants must:

  • be registered or invited by the organization
  • propose a performance aligned with the program
  • comply with the artistic and educational framework of Stone Play

8. Content Originality and Compliance

All content or performances must:

  • be original
  • be created or performed by the participant
  • respect copyright laws
  • comply with applicable laws and Stone Play values

Any violation may result in immediate disqualification.

9. Non-Eligibility

The following individuals are not eligible to participate:

  • jury members
  • individuals directly involved in the organization
  • individuals with undeclared conflicts of interest
  • individuals previously excluded for rule violations

10. Validation and Verification

The Stone Foundation reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.

Supporting documents may be requested.

Participation may be canceled in case of non-compliance.

11. Special Cases

The Stone Foundation may define specific categories or adapted conditions depending on the edition.
