1. Purpose

These regulations define the general conditions for participation in all Stone Play activities, an educational initiative led by the Stone Foundation.

They apply to all forms of participation, including:

  • the virtual competition
  • the sports tournament
  • cultural and artistic performances
  • public participation

Participation implies full acceptance of these regulations, the Official Charter, and the specific rules of the current edition.

2. Organizer

Stone Play is organized by the Stone Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Canada.

The Foundation ensures the supervision, coordination, and integrity of the entire initiative.

3. Access and Participation Modes

Participation in Stone Play is available through two main access modes:

Registration

  • virtual competition participants
  • sports teams
  • performers and artists
  • contributors

Public Access

  • ticket purchase or registration depending on activities
  • attendance and participation as part of the audience

4. General Eligibility Conditions

Participation is open to any individual who complies with applicable laws and the values of Stone Play.

  • compliance with applicable laws
  • respect of Stone Play values and principles
  • ability to participate under defined conditions

Minors must have parental or legal authorization.

The Stone Foundation reserves the right to request proof of eligibility.

5. Participation Flow

Participation flows vary depending on the type of involvement:

Virtual Participants

  • prior registration
  • access to edition resources
  • submission of content to the Stone Play team

Sports Participants

  • individual or team registration
  • validation of information
  • participation in the tournament

Performers and Artists

  • registration or invitation
  • validation by the organization
  • integration into the program

Public

  • access via ticket or registration
  • participation in event activities

6. Participation Terms (Virtual Competition)

To participate in the virtual competition, candidates must:

  • create original content
  • respect the theme and official anthem of the edition
  • submit their content to the Stone Play team
  • comply with defined formats and deadlines

Validated content is published by the Stone Play team on official platforms.

7. Content Requirements

Submitted content must:

  • be original
  • respect copyright laws
  • comply with applicable laws
  • align with Stone Play values

Non-compliant content may be rejected or disqualified.

8. Timeline

Stone Play activities follow an official timeline including registration, participation, selection, and event phases.

Dates are communicated for each edition.

Submissions outside the defined period will not be considered.

9. Selection and Evaluation

Evaluation mechanisms may include:

  • jury evaluation
  • public voting
  • a combination of both

Criteria include creativity, alignment, quality, impact, and engagement.

All decisions are final.

10. Voting and Integrity

Mechanisms are implemented to ensure fairness and transparency.

  • no manipulation of results
  • no vote buying
  • no use of bots or artificial engagement

Any fraudulent behavior results in immediate disqualification.

11. Content Ownership and Usage

Participants retain ownership of their content.

By participating, they grant the Stone Foundation permission to use the content within the scope of Stone Play.

12. Liability

The Stone Foundation cannot be held responsible for technical failures or third-party actions.

13. Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully and in accordance with Stone Play values.

Any inappropriate behavior may result in exclusion.

14. Modification and Cancellation

The Stone Foundation reserves the right to modify, adapt, or cancel the initiative if necessary.

15. Personal Data

Personal data is used solely within the scope of Stone Play and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16. Acceptance

Participation implies acceptance of these regulations, the Official Charter, and the rules of the current edition.
